Christopher Plummer wins Oscar

Located in historic downtown Stratford, since 1993. Warm lively bar, neighbourly high-energy bistro dining. Open kitchen, seasonal menus featuring local and organic produce. VQA award-winning wine list, local craft & import brews. Upbeat music. "Stratford’s hippest late night spot". Reservations may be made in person or by telephone.

Owner Susan Dunfield has somehow figured out how to run a bar and restaurant that pleases tourists, theatre people and locals...all at once. No mean feat. Sort of the Stratford version of Rick's from Casablanca.
P. & M. Knowles, 'The Sunday Sun'

Down the Street is serious about food, local wine and hospitality, but most of all, it is seriously into fun.

THANK YOU to everyone who attended, donated and volunteered at the community Hampstead Fundraiser on February 25, 2012. The event was an incredible success that raised over $15,000 for the families and the victims involved in the tragic crash in Hampstead, East Perth.
With your help we were able to provide a little bit of stability to those families whose lives had been thrown into chaos.
